“Ally has tutored my two sons over the last 2 years. Not only is she very effective at working with kids on non-preferred subjects but she always comes super prepared with lessons, a plan, and projects ready to begin at each visit. These prepared lessons always beautifully tie in with exactly what my kids are currently working on or need more help/reinforcement. If one of my kids brings a specific assignment they are struggling with at the last minute she pivots in real time. I always feel she’s so efficient with the precious time allotted for my boys sessions. "Ally has supported our son through 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. She has help us bring his grades from a mix of 2 & 3's to 3 & 4's in his core subjects. She can personalize and adapt her lessons to your child's needs - finding ways to make them enjoy reading, writing, or growing their math skills with apps, or different approaches to the work. Her content aligns to the school curriculum, and she often knows the teachers in the FCPS school system having been a teacher there for 7 years.
