Frequently Asked Questions
What do you do?
We provide comprehensive, hands-on evaluation, advocacy, and full-service management of IEP and 504 plans. This means we’re there from the very first step — helping families understand their child’s strengths and needs through assessments — all the way through drafting, negotiating, and monitoring plans with schools. We don’t just stop once the paperwork is signed. We continue to oversee progress, attend meetings, troubleshoot challenges, and make adjustments as needed. Our mission is to ensure that every child receives the educational supports and opportunities they are legally entitled to, and that families feel confident, empowered, and never alone in the process.
Who do you serve?
We serve families of children with diverse learning and developmental needs, including those with learning differences, ADHD, autism, or other challenges that can impact their education. Many of our families come to us feeling overwhelmed, unsure of their rights, or frustrated that their child isn’t receiving the help they need. We specialize in bringing clarity, advocacy, and peace of mind — walking alongside families as trusted partners so they can focus less on fighting the system and more on celebrating their child’s growth.
How are you different?
Unlike one-time consultants who provide advice and leave, or legal-only advocates who focus solely on due process, we stay invested for the long haul. We work with families before, during, and after school meetings to ensure services are not only written into a plan but also properly implemented in the classroom. Our team checks for accountability, pushes for measurable progress, and helps adjust supports as your child grows. We bring both professional expertise and lived experience, which allows us to balance advocacy with collaboration, ensuring long-term success rather than short-term fixes.
Do you work with schools?
Yes. We believe in partnership, not opposition. While we are strong advocates for children and families, we also know that the most effective and sustainable solutions happen when schools, families, and specialists are working together. We collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to design supports that are realistic, effective, and tailored to each child. Our approach creates a bridge between families and schools, fostering trust while holding systems accountable.
Do you provide legal services?
We are not a law firm, and we do not represent families in litigation. However, we recognize that some situations require additional expertise. For those cases, we maintain a trusted referral network of attorneys, therapists, evaluators, and specialists who can step in when deeper legal or clinical support is needed. This allows families to get seamless access to a team of professionals without having to start from scratch or navigate the search alone.
Where are you headed?
Our vision extends beyond individual advocacy. We are building toward a true community hub where families can access tutoring, executive-function coaching, parent education, and advocacy services under one roof. We envision a space where children can thrive academically and socially, and where parents find a supportive network of professionals and peers who understand the journey. Our long-term goal is to make sure no family ever feels isolated, overwhelmed, or without options when it comes to their child’s education.
