Allyson Talbot

With over a decade of experience as a Special Education Teacher, Private Tutor, and Family Advocate, I am committed to helping families navigate the complexities of special education, IEPs, and 504 Plans. I provide personalized tutoring, executive function coaching, and educational advocacy to ensure that children receive the support they need to succeed academically.

I understand firsthand how overwhelming it can be to secure school accommodations, communicate with teachers, and access special education resources—a challenge I have personally faced as a parent advocating for my own child with an Individualized Education Program (IEP). My experience allows me to provide strategic guidance for parents, ensuring they understand their child’s educational rights and how to work effectively with school teams.

I work with students from elementary through high school and collaborate with families to develop customized learning plans that align with their child’s unique strengths and challenges. My approach is empathetic, research-based, and results-driven, ensuring that every child has access to inclusive education, equitable learning opportunities, and the tools they need to thrive.

If you're looking for an experienced special education tutor, IEP coach, or advocate to help your child succeed, contact me today to learn how I can support your family.
